Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before purchasing from Vero Technology. By placing an order on verotechnology.co.za, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. About Us
Vero Technology is a South African-based retailer of certified refurbished computers, laptops, desktops, monitors, tablets and accessories. Our website is verotechnology.co.za. For any queries, contact us via our Contact page or WhatsApp.
2. Products
All products sold by Vero Technology are certified refurbished unless explicitly stated as new. “Certified refurbished” means the product has been professionally inspected, tested, cleaned, and restored to full working order by our technicians. Products may show minor cosmetic marks consistent with previous use unless graded otherwise.
Product images on our website are representative. The actual product you receive will match the specifications listed but may differ slightly in appearance from the image shown.
3. Pricing
All prices are displayed in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT where applicable. Vero Technology reserves the right to correct pricing errors at any time. If a pricing error is discovered after your order is placed, we will contact you before processing the order.
Prices are subject to change without notice. The price applicable to your order is the price displayed at the time you complete your purchase.
4. Orders and Payment
By placing an order, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and legally authorised to make purchases. Orders are subject to stock availability. Once payment is confirmed, you will receive an order confirmation via email.
We accept the following payment methods: EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer), credit/debit card, and any other methods listed at checkout. Orders are processed once full payment has been received and cleared.
5. Warranty
All products sold by Vero Technology come with a 6-month carry-in warranty unless otherwise stated on the product listing. This warranty covers hardware defects and faults not caused by the customer.
The warranty does not cover:
- Physical damage caused by the customer (drops, spills, misuse)
- Software issues, viruses, or operating system problems
- Damage caused by use of incorrect chargers or accessories
- Normal wear and tear (keys, screen brightness degradation, battery life reduction over time)
- Unauthorised repairs or modifications
To claim under warranty, contact us via our Contact page with your order number and a description of the fault. You will need to arrange delivery of the product to us (carry-in). We will repair or replace the unit at our discretion.
6. Stock Availability
As a refurbished retailer, stock is limited and may sell out without notice. If a product you have ordered is no longer available, we will contact you to offer an alternative or a full refund.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on verotechnology.co.za — including text, images, logos, and design — is the property of Vero Technology and may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without written permission.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by South African law, Vero Technology is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from the use of our products or website. Our liability is limited to the purchase price of the product in question.
9. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, including the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (CPA) and the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 (ECT Act).
10. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised date. Continued use of our website constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
